Divine Mercy Trust is rendering a selfless service and complete care to the abandoned and helpless aged people in Vellore District for last 8 years. Identifying, rescuing and sheltering the aged, who are abandoned by their family is core of our service. Abandoned aged people are facing great difficulties due to rejection, lack of care, being dependent and thus leads them to loneliness and mental stress. For this reason we started “Divine Mercy Destitute Home for Aged” with a humanity and service to cater to the needs of such unfortunate elders. In Divine Mercy Home, 26 destitute aged people are taken care with shelter, healthy food, medical care, recreation facilities and other basic needs with love and care. In case of death the home takes care of all the final formalities, rites and peaceful burial. All the above humanitarian services are provided to make sure the destitute aged people lead a dignified life.
